<p class="title">A patient infected with H1N1, and suffering from other health complications, died at Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The deceased hails from Kanyana in Bantwal taluk. She was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru following an H1N1 infection. She was treated and later shifted to Wenlock Hospital.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The deceased patient was suffering from various other ailments including kidney related problems, said District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Ramakrishna Rao.</p>.<p class="bodytext">With this, the number of deaths due to H1N1, has increased to five in Dakshina Kannada district.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The DHO said that 48 cases tested positive for H1N1, out of the 442 samples tested in the district.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Of the 48 cases, six patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and 37 patients have recovered, according to the DHO.</p>
