Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, he said there are several problems bothering the residents in connection with revenue department related issues in Dakshina Kannada district. “I have already discussed the issue with senior officials from the department. I was supposed to convene a high-level meeting in Mangaluru on Sunday. However, it has been postponed following the demise of Ambareesh.”

Under 94 CC of Land Revenue Act in urban areas, along with title deeds, khata is also issued to the beneficiaries. However, there is a problem in issuing khata along with the title deeds to the beneficiaries in rural areas, which will be sorted out.
