Sainik School student authors book on Maths

Kodagu Sainik School student A Manish has brought out a book, ‘Beauty of Mathematics’.

He is a Class 9 student and son of advocate Arun Kumar and Madhushri couple from Madapura Doddi in Mandya district.

The Sainik School on Saturday had organised the National Mathematics Day programme, to remember the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. Manish’s 50-page book was released on the occasion.

Manish has thrown light on Geometry, Arithmetic and Algebra in the book and has also documented the importance of numbers and zero.

Manish said, “My parents were responsible for my interest in Mathematics. The teachers motivated me to write a book.”

Sainik School principal Group Capt R R Lal, vice principal Lt Col Seema and others were present.
