Gautam's all-round effort spurs Malleswaram Gymkhana

 Led by the all-round show from Gautam K, Malleswaram Gym-khana pocketed three points from their KSCA Group I, Division I league (Sir Mirza Ismail Shield) tie against Social Cricketers which ended in a draw here on Thursday.

Batting first, Malle-swaram could manage a modest 166 before being bowled out in the 42 over. Gautam top scored for the Malleswaram side as Vijaykumar (3-30) and Rajoo Bhatkal (3-22) put up a fine bowling show to restrict their opponents.

In reply, the Socials batsmen were no match for the Malleswaram side as Gautam once again led the charge to dismantle the Socials batting line-up restricting them to 101. In their second essay, Malleswaram put up a solid show as they made 319/8 with Rohit Gowda top scoring for them with an unbeaten even hundred.
