Karan does star turn for Tumkur

Karan bagged a five-for as Tumkur Zone defeated Shimoga Zone by 53 runs in the KSCA inter-mofussil U-23 tournament match here at the Alur (3) ground.

Batting first, Tumkur rode on handy contributions from Nirmith S (41) and Punith A (33) to post 198 all out in 49.5 overs.

With a small total to defending, Tumkur needed someone to step up and Karan did just that. His 5/20 saw Shimoga being bowled out for 145 in 37.4 overs.
