Leggie Qadir sets up easy Pakistan win

PNG were shot out for just 99 in 37.3 overs, and Pakistan rallied from the loss of their openers without a run on the board to cruise to victory with almost 32 overs in the bag.
Opting to bat, PNG were rocked by Fayyaz Butt's twin strikes in the sixth over, and Qadir then took over, eating away into the middle order. Shahzaib Ahmed picked up two for eight from 6.3 tidy overs as PNG failed to touch three-figures.

Despite a wonderful start with the ball when Pakistan lost their openers without a run scored, PNG had no answers to the class of Babar Azam and skipper Azeem Ghumman, who put on 65, the latter dominating the stand with a 43-ball 40.

England crushed Afghani-stan by nine wickets, South Africa trooped out eight-wicket victors over the United States and Sri Lanka overpowered Canada by 134 runs.
