IM K Priyadharshan continued to impress in the championship and held top seed Alexey Dreev of Russia to a creditable draw. Earlier in the fourth and fifth round encounters, Priyadharshan beat GM Pablo Lafuente of Argentina and Marat Dzhumaev.
