Ekka found the back of the net in the seventh minute via a penalty corner and then completed his brace with a goal in the 42nd minute. Kumar also got his first goal through a penalty corner in the eighth minute with the second coming in the 58th. The other goal was scored by Rohit Tirkey in the 56th minute.
In another match Fortis thumped Canara Bank 6-0, with Bruno leading the scorers with a hat-trick.
