5 IPS officers transferred

The state government has transferred five IPS officers on Friday.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau, Bengaluru, gets a new Inspector General of Police. M Chandra Shekar, who was serving as the IGP and Commissioner of Police, Belagavi city, Belagavi, has been transferred as the new IGP, ACB, Bengaluru, until further orders.

Dr D C Rajappa, DIG, Railways, Bengaluru, has been transferred as the DIG and Commissioner of Police, Belagavi.

Vipul Kumar, IGP and Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru, has been transferred as IGP and Director, Karnataka Police Academy, Mysuru.

C Vamsi Krishna, Superintendent of Police, Bagalkot, has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Eastern Range, Davangere.

C B Ryshyanth, Superintendent of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Bengaluru, has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Bagalkot.
