Rebel Star Ambareesh had reportedly sought astrologers' advice on his deteriorating health condition.
"He was much worried about his health after he was admitted at a Singapore hospital. He had shared his horoscope with his close friends and had sought the astrologers' advice," filmmaker and the actor's close friend Dr Rajendra Singh Babu says.

" That way he was not that religious. As a pious being, he would just offer puja and concentrate on his work. He would visit Tirupathi once a year and often visited Sabarimala with Dr Rajkumar and Dr Vishuvardhan. I too had accompanied him on several occasions to Sabarimala," he adds.
According to Babu, Ambareesh had recently visited Dharmasthala. He had arranged a special puja at his residence after his condition deteriorated recently.
"He never took our advice on his health seriously," Babu adds.
"Even Rajinikanth underwent treatment in Singapore. But he took care of his diet on return. But Ambareesh did not," he says
"He should have been more careful after his hospitalisation at Singapore. But it was his nature not to bother about anything too much," Babu says.
