The BJP Yuva Morcha will continue to hold agitations until Backward Classes Welfare Minister C Puttarangashetty, in whose Vidhana Soudha office a staffer was caught with Rs 26 lakh cash, submits his resignation.

Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru on Monday, BJP Yuva Morcha General Secretary and MP B Y Raghavendra wondered why Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy was “protecting” minister Puttanagashetty.

He claimed that the coalition government was trying to brush the entire episode under the carpet by handing over the case to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)

Based on a tip-off, a typist identified as Mohan working in Puttarangashetty’s office was caught with Rs 25.76 lakh by the Vidhana Soudha police last week.
