BJP to release docs against Deve Gowda family today

There seems to be a new twist to the ongoing political drama in Karnataka with state BJP president and Leader of the Opposition B S Yeddyurappa saying that the party will release documents related to corrupt activities involving the H D Deve Gowda family on Thursday.

Minutes after Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy lambasted the BJP, former chief minister and one-time ally Yeddyurappa said BJP leaders will hold a press conference at 4 pm and release documents related to land grabbing by the Deve Gowda family.

The day began with politically charged statements flying thick and fast from across the board. Kumaraswamy led the tirade by attacking Yeddyurappa, accusing his party of being "shameless" and having the sole agenda of bringing down the coalition government.
