The accident in which Sandalwood actors Darshan Thoogudeepa, Devaraj and Prajwal Devaraj were injured, got a new twist on Wednesday.
Mysuru City Police Commissioner Dr A S Rao said there were five members in the car during the accident. But the medico-legal report said that there were six people in the vehicle during the accident.
While four were treated in a private hospital, others escaped unhurt, according to the police.
The Commissioner, however said, it was too early to ascertain the clear details and investigation was on.
He added, that if the car was shifted from the accident spot, in the presence of the jurisdictional police, then action would be initiated against police personnel for not ascertaining the case details correctly.
It may be recalled that, soon after the mishap, the car was shifted from the accident spot. However, later it was brought back to the V V Puram police station. The Commissioner said that the car was released after inspection (mahzar).
