Cong teams to visit flood-hit areas

The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has formed three teams of observers to assess and report damage in the flood-hit districts.

The teams will visit Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Mysuru, Kodagu, Chamarajanagar, Shivamogga and Chikkamagalur districts.

“The three teams will hold talks with our local leaders in the districts and visit flood-hit areas and reach out to the victims. Also, they will study mitigation and relief efforts that are underway and submit a report,” KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao said here on Friday.
