<p>Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara said on Wednesday that the Congress party would defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections if he contested in any of the seats in Karnataka.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“We welcome Modi’s contest from any of the Lok Sabha constituencies in the state.<br />We will defeat him,” he told reporters.</p>
