A youth from the city was killed after an oil tanker ran aground off Chennai coast in Tamil Nadu hours before cyclone Nilam made landfall on Thursday.
Rishab Jadhav, 24, a resident of Mahatma Pule Road, Shahapur, joined the shipping company a month ago as trainee, said his family members. He was on the ship that ran aground off Chennai coast.
His body was retrieved from the sea on Friday and would be brought to the city on Saturday for last rites, they said.
