Missing girls traced to Belur

Two girls who went missing from Mudigere taluk were reunited with their guardians.

The girls who are studying in high school were staying at their relative’s house in Hirebail. They had travelled to Bengaluru in search of work, on Tuesday.

When the children did not return home, their guardians sought peoples help through the social media, to trace the missing girls. When the message went viral, there were speculations about the kidnap of the children.

Bus to Hassan

However, after reaching Bengaluru, the girls got terrified and boarded a bus bound for Hassan. From Hassan, they reached Belur.

Some passengers in Beluru recognised the girls and informed their guardians, who accompanied the children back to their place.

The children said that they left for Bengaluru as they felt they were a burden on their guardians.
