Most of the roads in the City were inundated with water and motorists were finding it difficult to wade through the water-filled roads. But people living in interior parts of the city were cursing the civic body for leaving the roads unaspahlted.
Roads in old layouts like Shehan Shah Nagar, Phool Shah Mohalla, Rahamath Nagar, Mahalakshmi Layout, PC Layout, Gandhinagar, Karanjikatte, Khadripura, Veeranjaneya Nagar and Muneshwar Nagar were utterly pathetic.
Ovreflowing drains
The roads were slippery and full of slush. Besides, water from drains had flown on to Katharipalya Main Road, Tipu Road, Gulpet Road and Dharmaraya Roads causing lot of inconvenience to the nearby residents. Since it continued to drizzle through the day, many people remained indoors.
