Students make merry at 'Mysuru Habba'

He was speaking at ‘Mysuru Habba’ an event organised to encourage talented school children under the auspices of Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA) at Dasara Exhibition Grounds.

Drawing an analogy between India and foreign countries, the actor said that the latter is known for its cleaner environs when compared to the former, due to the increasing habit among the people to dispose garbage on the roads itself.

On wildlife, he feared that the day may come when the society will be privileged to see tigers only in photos like that of dinosaurs.

Deputy Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath buttressed Chandru and called for honest attempts on the part of the kids in creating a better society. Students on the occasion presented cultural programmes, besides an exhibition that displayed various models on different issues. The city police had also put up a stall to create awareness about traffic and related aspects.
