DKS could be jailed anytime, predicts Sriramulu

Former minister and Molakalmuru MLA B Sriramulu on Saturday said that Water Resources minister D K Shivakumar could be imprisoned anytime.

He was addressing the party workers at Hosapete in the wake of bypoll to the Bellary Lok Sabha constituency.

"Shivakumar is surrounded by cases of corruptions. He is speaking of changing the future of Ballari politics. He doesn't know that his future will change," Ramulu said.

"The Congress party leaders are trying to win the Ballari Lok Sabha seat using the money they earned by means of corruption. Ballari district MLAs did not attend Shivakumar's meeting, but attended the one convened by former chief minister Siddramaiah. This indicates Shivakumar's image. The Congress party hasn't been able to announce the candidate so far," he said.

Former minister V Somanna termed the Ballari bypoll as the direction for the general election and called upon workers to ensure the BJP candidate G Shantha's victory.
