Four members of a family have committed suicide reportedly due to heavy debts at Sunkhathinnur in Pandavapur taluk, Mandya district.
The deceased are Nandish (35), his wife Komala (28), their children Chandan (10) and Manu (13). They ended lives by consuming poison.
According to the police, Nandhish had borrowed Rs 5 lakh loan from private lenders and was unable to repay the loan.
Pandavapura police are investigating.
