<p>State Congress president Dinesh Gundu Rao on Wednesday urged Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to ensure that Congress party workers get more representation while nominating members to various committees of the government.</p>.<p>The Congress workers should get more representation in assembly constituencies represented by the party MLAs. Nomination of members should be done in the ratio of 2:1 (two Congress members and one JD(S) member) in committees such as Akrama-Sakrama, land tribunals at district and taluk levels, he stated in a letter to the Chief Minister.</p>.<p>The same formula could be applied in the constituencies represented by JD(S) MLAs, giving priority to the regional party, he added.</p>
