Heartbroken teen girl live-streams suicide

An 18-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming an excessive amount of pills, prescribed to her by a doctor for a psychological disorder while live streaming the act on social media.

Yasmin Taj, daughter of Abdul Rafique, a resident of Kaveri Nagar at Bannimantap, committed suicide at her house. She was studying II PU in Commerce at JSS College.

In the video, Yasmin says, “I am not an intelligent student. I wanted to become a singer or an advocate. Because of my poor health, I could not achieve anything. No one liked me when I was alive. Please like this video and share.”

The video has gone viral on social media.

Yasmin’s father, in a complaint lodged with Metagalli police, stated, “My daughter was ill after consuming an excessive amount of pills. We had admitted her to a hospital, where she failed to respond to treatment and died.”
