IRCTC's winter spl package tour to religious centres

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is introducing an 11-day winter special tourism package ‘Bharat Darshan’ to various religious centres starting September 15.

Addressing reporters here on Tuesday, IRCTC head Imran Ahmed said that the special train would leave Madurai on September 15 and pass via Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hassan, Arasikere, Davangere and Hubballi to take tourists to Mahakaleshwara-Omkareshwara-Jaipur-Pushkar-Triambakeshwar-Shiradi-Pandarapur.

The package is priced at
Rs 10,820 per person, above five years, including food and accommodation. Vehicles will be arranged for road transfers, and to visit local places, the officer said. For booking and more details, one can visit www.irctctourism.com or contact Mysuru railway station at 0821-2426001.

Air package

The corporation is also introducing an air package tour for six days from September 11. This includes a visit to Amritsar-Dharamshala-Katra and is priced at Rs 30,600 a head. A six-day tour to Andaman is also being organised from October 12 at Rs 39,800 per person.

“The IRCTC is also offering international tour packages. A 10-day tour to Jordan-Israel-Egypt will cost Rs 1,04,400 per person, and Rs 45,600 for a five-day trip to Thailand, which will start from October 12, the officer said.
