The third additional court in Dharwad on Saturday allowed the plea of the CID which had sought remand of two persons accused in the Gauri Lankesh murder case, to investigate their role in the M M Kalburgi murder case.
The CID had filed a plea seeking the remand of two accused - Ganesh Miskin and Amit Baddi - for 14 days to establish their involvement in Kalburgi’s killing.
The judge handed over both the accused to CID custody for 14 days.
The court has directed the CID sleuths to regularly conduct health check-up of the accused and not to give them any physical torture in the jail during their custody till September 28.
