Smooth CET in Kodagu

The only CET examination centre in Kodagu was Government PU College. On Wednesday morning, for Biology examination, 574 students had applied. Of which 190 students were absent. However, in the afternoon for mathematics paper, only 10 students were absent.
As many as 564 students have appeared for the examination, said Principal Gangaiah.

He said “mathematics is compulsory paper for engineering course. By comparing the number of students who appeared for biology and mathematics shows that students are interested in engineering compared to medicine field.”

The CET examination was conducted smoothly on day one. All precautionary measures had been taken to avoid any malpractices.
