Village sports meet from Dec 3

Volley ball and Kabbadi for men and Throwball for women has been organised on December 3 and 4. Different types of bullock cart racing has been organised on December 6, informed Association Secretary H R Srinivas in a press meet.

The first two winners of the race will be awarded 8 gram and 5 gram gold respectively. The registration fee for the cart racing competition is Rs 300, he informed.

On December 6, slow and fast bicycle race, shot-put, Kabaddi, 100, 200, 400, 800 metre race will be organised for men.

For elderly men and women and children 100 metre race will be organised. For women, musical chair, tug of war, Rangoli, shot-put, 100, 200 metre race will be organised, said Association Honarary President H N Rajshekar.

The first four winning teams of Kabbadi and volleyball tourney will receive Rs 7,777, Rs 5,555, Rs 3,333 and Rs 2,222 respectively along with a trophy. The first two winning teams of throwball will receive Rs 4,444 and Rs 2,222 respectively along with a trophy.
