Modi rally in Bengaluru today

The Vijaya Sankalpa rally, to be held at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru on Saturday in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part, is expected to witness a footfall of around two lakh.

According to the BJP, seating arrangement has been made for 40,000 people. Forty buses will ferry BJP workers from various Assembly constituencies around Bengaluru during the rally.

BJP general secretary and campaign in-charge R Ashoka said more than 11,000 participants have registered online to participate in the rally. Such participants should be inside the venue by 4.30 pm, he said.

A total of 3,000 policemen have been deputed for security, while 1,200 men will man the traffic at various entry points around the venue to ensure smooth movement of traffic.
