KPSC: govt submits revised list

Following the directions of the Karnataka High Court, the Karnataka state on Tuesday submitted a revised list of 140 persons from the 1998-99 batch of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), who will be displaced to other departments following a change in the examination marks.

A division bench comprising Justice B V Nagarathna and Justice H T Narendra Prasad were hearing a civil contempt petition filed by the candidates who have successfully cleared the KPSC examinations in 1998-99.

In the last hearing, the court had asked the state to submit a compliance report pertaining to the revised list of candidates from the 1998 batch of gazetted probationers selected, or eligible for promotion or demotion, issued by the KPSC.
