A degree student ended her life by consuming poison at Mathibettu in Muniyalu. The deceased is identified as Shakunthala, a first year degree student of Government First Grade College in Muniyalu. She was reportedly in depression.
Though Shakunthala was rushed to a hospital, she failed to respond to the treatment and died. A case was registered at Hebri police station.
