Youth should stop chanting the name of Modi, or else, the problem of unemployment will only become bigger, Bengaluru Shantinagar MLA N A Haris warned.

He was speaking at the coalition party election office in Madikeri on Thursday.

Haris said that Narendra Modi had destroyed the future of the youth.

“Modi’s assurances are of no use. Even though there are 22 lakh vacancies, no recruitment was undertaken by the Central government. The promise of creating two crore jobs in a year, has also turned out to be false,” he added.

“In the district, M P Pratap Simha has only been relying on the name of Modi. No scheme of the Central government has benefited the people of the district. People are fed up with the regime of the BJP. There is a good wave in favour of the coalition government and also coalition candidate,” the legislator declared.

Haris further accused that the BJP has altered the manifesto of Congress party. He asked the farmers to teach a befitting lesson to the BJP candidate as the latter has done nothing to rescue growers who have undergone the income shock due to fall of market rates.

District Congress committee president K K Manjunath was present at the press conference.
