A 53-year-old doctor died of Covid-19 infection, at a private hospital, here.
The doctor, also Covid-19 warrior, was working at a Community health care centre, Jayapura, near here. He tested positive for Covid-19 a few days back and isolated at a hospital.
According to Health department officials, the doctor died of severe illness.
