New train services between Mysuru, Varanasi

As announced in the Railway budget 2014-15, a new Bi-weekly express train will be introduced between Mysuru and Varanasi.

The train will run from Mysuru on December 25 and from Varanasi on December 27.
Train No. 16229/16230 Mysuru – Varanasi – Mysuru Bi-weekly Express (Via Bangalore City) will leave Mysuru at 7.20 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays to arrive at Bengaluru City at 9.55 am and depart at 10 am to reach Varanasi at 11.50 am on Thursdays and Saturdays.

In the return direction, Train No.16230 Varanasi - Mysuru Bi-weekly Express will leave Varanasi on Thursdays and Saturdays at 9.05 pm to arrive at Bengaluru City at 12.10 am on Sundays and Tuesdays and depart from Bengaluru City at 12.15 am to reach Mysuru at 3 am on Sundays and Tuesdays.

The Train will have stoppages at Mandya, Kengeri, Bengaluru City, Yeshwanthpur, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Ballari, Guntakal, Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Raichur, Krishna, Yadgir, Wadi, Kalaburagi, Solapur, Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narasinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Malhar, Satna, Cheoki and Mirzapur in both directions.
