The Health Department has launched an app to identify the nearest pulse polio vaccination centre. The app titled “Nearby Vaccination centre, Karnataka,” can be downloaded from Google Play. The app is also enabled with information on polio vaccination date and time and routine immunisation, vaccination hospitals, etc.
The app was has been developed in collaboration with Karnataka State Remote Sensing Applications Center (KSRSAC) under the department of IT and BT.
