PM Modi to visit Udupi tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Udupi on May 1 to address the mega political rally at MGM Grounds.

BJP District President Mattar Ratnkar Hedge said more than one lakh people are expected for the event, 25,000 each from five assembly constituencies in the district. Besides, as many as eight candidates from eight assembly constituencies would be taking part in the rally. Apart from the five assembly constituencies in the district, three BJP candidates from Bhatkal, Ankola and Karwar are taking part.

The decorations are all done with the permission of Election Commission. Modi would be landing at the Adi Udupi helipad at 2.50 pm, and from there he would be directly be driven to the venue. His visit to Sri Krishna temple is almost confirmed. The programme would be till 4 pm and he would leave to Chikkodi in Belagavi, for the next scheduled programme.
