<p class="rtejustify">Prime Ministers Office has written to Mysuru Deputy Commissioner to take measures on alternative model of education system based on the principle 'School for Children'.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">The PMO has sent a communication following a complaint about the present education system by M R Ananth Kumar of Mysuru based Divya Deepa Charitable Trust.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">In his complaint, Kumar had mentioned that the present education system worked on the assumption that all children were like machines who could learn a pre-determined textual content in a pre-determined time interval and in a pre-determined way. But school dropouts, rural first-generation school goers from BPL families, child labourers found it difficult to learn that way and failed to reach the grades, though they were mentally normal.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">The PMOs office has sent a communication to the DC who has directed to Deputy Director for Public Instructions to take measures.</p>
