Rain lashes Bidar, Belagavi

Some parts of Belagavi district received rain on Wednesday.

Saundatti town and surrounding areas received mild showers for about 30 minutes, while Raibag town and surrounding villages received the downpour for about an hour.

Mudalgi taluk received downpour for about an hour.

Gokak town, Ghataprabha and surrounding villages in Gokak taluk received the rain for about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, monsoon entered Bidar district. Bidar city, Aurad, Kamalanagar and Humnabad received rain accompanied by strong wind. The rain has cooled temperature in Bidar.

The rain has cheered farmers as they have made preparations to sow seeds.

Naregal in Gadag district also received heavy rain in the evening filling up farm ponds in agricultural fields.
