Rains and strong winds which the district experienced in the past couple of days continued on Monday also. Drizzling too was reported from a few places.
Many trees and electricity poles were uprooted as a result. Partial damages, including to the roof, were reported from over 100 houses. Large-scale damages have been reported to crops in the rural areas.
