Last Updated 24 October 2018, 19:54 IST

Several ministers and the legislators from Rajasthan are visiting parts of the state in a bid to woo the voters from Rajasthani community settled in the state.

Legislator from Luni Assembly constituency in Rajasthan, Jogaram Patel, on Wednesday, canvassed for votes at Terapanth Bhavan (of Shwetambar Jains) at a programme organised by Rajasthan Sangh.

The BJP MLA from Rajasthan was joined by his local counterpart G H Thippareddy.

“Rajasthan will go to polls in a few weeks. We seek your support to help the BJP retain power in the state,” Jogaram Patel urged Rajasthani community people.

“The Assembly election to Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh is like a semi-final for the BJP ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. If we win Assembly polls in three states, it will help the party emerge victorious in the Parliamentary election. Hence, you should make sure your kin and friends vote for the BJP and thereby strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi,” he said.
