Former minister Janardhana Reddy will move into the house finalised for him in the taluk, so that he can campaign for his trusted aide B Sriramulu, the BJP nominee from Molkalmuru.

Sriramulu's men have zeroed in on a farmhouse near Megalahatti in the taluk and Reddy is set to move into the temporary accommodation, along with his family and brother Somashekara Reddy, on Wednesday. The farmhouse belongs to Dr Venkatesh of Nayakanahatti and has 'nine-star' facilities, including AC and grand furniture.

Shelters have been provided for scores of party workers expected to visit Reddy and Sriramulu, who is likely to file his papers on April 21. Dr Venkatesh has said he is happy to host Reddy in his house.

Janardhana Reddy, who is accused in the illegal mining case, has been barred by the Supreme Court from entering his home district Ballari, neighbouring Molkalmuru.
