The SIT officials have arrested a man from Sampaje in Sullia, on the charges of helping the prime accused, Parashuram Waghmare, in the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh.
The arrested is Mohan Nayak. It is said he was an active member of Sanathana Samsthe. Mohan faces the charges of arranging car, bike and a rented house to Parashuram.
Mohan was a arms dealer in Madikeri.
He was also treating people with native medicine. Mohan’s father was a tobacco trader in Puttur.
