Sulvadi temple tragedy: Death toll rises to 16

Another victim of Sulvadi Kicchuguttu Maramma temple prasadam poisoning died on Friday, with the death toll rising to 165.

"Nagesh who was on a ventilator and died in the morning", said DHO K H Prasad. "He was recovering well and his death was not predicted," he added.
 

Prasad also said, all the other 50 patients are responding to treatment.
 

Of all, more than 20 are on ventilator support, the DHO said.
