Former minister R L Jalappa (96) was on Sunday hospitalised after he suffered a stroke. He was at his Toobagere residence in Chikkaballapur district when the incident occurred. He was immediately shifted to R L Jalappa Hospital & Research Centre.
“He is undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit. His condition is stable,” Jalappa’s relative Nagaraj told DH.
