Ballari Lok Sabha constituency Congress party candidate V S Ugrappa on Wednesday violated code of conduct by delivering a political speech at Kottur Swami Samsthan Mutt.
Veerashaiva-Lingayat Samaj president Sharanu Swami felicitated Ugrappa. The Congress nominee charged that Sriramulu did not develop Ballari as an MLA and MP and was responsible for the bypoll. Ugrappa claimed his victory was certain. “Election officers have videographed his speech. After analysing content, a case will be registered,” the assistant commissioner said.
