Yeddyurappa to meet PM on Kodagu today

BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday and seek Central aid for relief work for rain-ravaged Kodagu.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, Yeddyurappa said he will also request Modi to conduct an aerial survey of the region if possible. He said each person affected by the rains in Kodagu had a painful story to tell.

“Things are in a very bad state and it is hard to explain in words, many have been rendered homeless. Leaving party differences behind, we should all work together to help people of Kodagu,” Yeddyurappa said.
