Five new games set to debut on Apple Arcade next month

Apple Arcade has grown rapidly since its launch in 2019. It now houses more than 250 popular gaming titles.

Now, Apple Arcade will welcome five new titles next month. On May 1, WHAT THE CLASH? developed by Triband will be available for users to play on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac devices.

This is Triband's second gaming title. The previous one, WHAT THE CAR?, was a critically acclaimed racing comedy game that won mobile game of the year at the 2024 D.I.C.E. Awards.

Here, with the WHAT THE CLASH?, users will have hilarious home party games, including ping pong. As they progress, players unlock modifier cards to create absurd combos like giraffle, toasty archery, sticky tennis, milk the fish, and more.

What the Clash? will be available from May 1 on Apple Arcade.

With simple touch controls, everyone plays as The Hand, a charming and stretchy hand with legs that players can customise with hundreds of combinations of unlockable items like eye patches, dresses, and earrings. Competitors will have to outplay and outgoof their opponents as they go hand-to-hand with family and friends in some seriously silly showdowns.

'with My Buddy' by Neilo Inc. is a heartwarming game where players bond with a variety of dogs and cats, each with their own personality and appearance.

Here, players tend to their virtual pets and experience their pets’ growth, nurturing them through each stage of their lives and dressing them in unique outfits to express their individuality.

Apple Arcade will also launch LEGO Friends Heartlake Rush+ by StoryToys. Here, the players have to race through Heartlake City with the LEGO Friends and their pets in the colourful, fast-paced adventure game. Players can jump behind the wheel as Aliya, Autumn, Nova, Leo, Liann, and more, customising their cars with unique colors, decals, tires, toppers, and trails.

While speeding through vibrant streets, players must dodge obstacles and collect treasures to complete the missions to unlock rewards.

For lexophiles, Apple Arcade is bringing another fun game, Words of Wonders: Search+ by Fugo Games. Here, players have to look for hidden words on the board while exploring iconic landmarks to uncover the secrets of the world.

As they progress through levels themed around a variety of subjects, players will discover new words and challenge their own knowledge. They have to strategise their way to success as they solve the mystery that words hide.

SUMI SUMI: Matching Puzzle+ by Imagineer will also make its way to Apple Arcade in May.

This game features beloved characters such a Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi from Japanese character manufacturing company San-X. In this game, players face simple tap-to-match mechanics, engaging yet relaxing gameplay. With beautifully designed maps, SUMI SUMI: Matching Puzzle+ offers a perfect blend of strategy and fun for fans of cute puzzle games.

This month, players can also look forward to content updates to their favorite Arcade games including Hello Kitty Island Adventure, PGA TOUR Pro Golf, and WHAT THE CAR? playable across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.
