Oppo K13 Turbo series with dual-camera, built-in fan launched in India

The new K13 Turbo series features built-in fan, which is designed to keep the phone cool when performing heavy-duty tasks such as playing graphics-rich games or recording 4K videos.

Oppo on Monday (August 11) launched the new mid-range Android K13 Turbo series in India.

The new device comes in two variants-- K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro.

Both devices come with pretty much the same design and hardware, but differ in terms of processor.

The most notable aspect of the K13 Turbo series is that the phones come with a built-in fan. It is designed to keep the phone cool when performing heavy-duty tasks such as playing graphics-rich games or recording 4K videos.

They sport a 6.80-inch 1.5K (1280x2800p) OLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate, offer up to 1600 nits peak brightness and come with AGC DT-Star D+ glass shield, and IPX6/IPX8/IPX9 water-and-dust resistant rating.

The devices also feature dual SIM slots (type nano), an infrared sensor, a Type-C port and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

They run Android 15-based ColorOS 15 and come with 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5X RAM with 128GB / 256GB (UFS 3.1 for Turbo, UFS 4.0 for Turbo Pro) storage, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging capability.

The new K13 Turbo phones come with a dual-camera module--a main 50MP (with 1/2.88-inch OV50D40 sensor, f/1.8) and 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor with LED flash on the back.

It also features a 16MP(with Sony IMX480 sensor, f/2.4 ) front camera for selfies and video calling.

As mentioned earlier, the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro have different processors. The latter houses Qualcomm's 4nm class Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 octa-core silicon with Adreno 825 GPU. And, the K13 Turbo features MediaTek's 4nm class Dimensity 8450 octa-core processor with Mali-G720 MC7 GPU.

The top-end model K13 Turbo Pro comes in three colours-- midnight maverick, purple phantom and silver knight. It is available in two versions-- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage-- for Rs 37,999 and Rs 39,999, respectively.

The OPPO K13 Turbo will be available in three colours-- midnight maverick, purple phantom and white knight. The device comes in two configurations-- 8GB RAM +128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage -- for Rs 27,999 and Rs 29,999, respectively.
