Six new games to launch in Apple Arcade next month

Apple Arcade is set to launch six new games, including Katamari and Space Invaders games in April.

Since its debut in 2019, Apple Arcade has grown big with each passing year. It now houses 250 plus titles with several globally acclaimed games from NBA, FIFA and more.

Soon, Apple Arcade is set to launch six new games, including Katamari and Space Invaders games early next month.

On April 3, Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE — the first original game fromthe Katamari franchise after eight long years. In the action-puzzle video game, players have to expand their Katamari by rolling up objects scattered across the earth. It features unique and whimsical gameplay, and a captivating soundtrack.

As users advance, comments from in-game fans appear, and the longer they play, the larger their audience grows. By completing the king’s challenges and boosting their subscriber count, players can unlock dynamic new stages.

On the same day, Space Invaders Infinity Gene Evolve by Taito Corporation is also making its debut on Apple Arcade. The game offers exhilarating action with intuitive gameplay, where players can seamlessly switch between classic and shoot modes, while adapting to enemy attack patterns.

As the game progresses, its retro aesthetic transforms into a cutting-edge 3D shooter, unlocking increasingly powerful ships, including guest fighters from classic TAITO shooters like Darius, Night Striker, and RayStorm.

Later in April, Puffies developed by Lykke Studios, is also scheduled to launch on Apple Arcade. It offers classic jigsaw puzzles with the nostalgic charm of puffy stickers. Players will solve hand-designed puzzles, unlock themed sticker packs, and build their unique puffy collection. They can also compete on leaderboards, tackling daily challenges to boost their score and climb the ranks.

Atari's RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic+ is slated to make its debut next month. Here, the players will get an opportunity to create and run amusement parks with the most outrageous rides.

The game, which is optimised for iPhone and iPad, promises to deliver the same depth of gameplay and unique graphical style of Chris Sawyer’s original best-selling PC games.

The game also includes three expansion packs — Wacky Worlds, Time Twister, and Toolkit — and is playable across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Marmalade Game Studio is also bringing 'The Game of Life 2+'. Here, players get a chance to reimagine their virtual life. The players get to choose their own path — whether that means finding love, pursuing a dream career, having kids, or adopting a pet and more. The players have to spin the iconic spinner to navigate life’s crossroads, and chase victory through happiness, knowledge, or wealth.

StoryToys is also launching their gaming title Sesame Street Mecha Builders+. Here, users play as young learners who join game characters -- Mecha Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Abby Cadabby on a fun-filled STEM adventure where knowledge meets creativity.

This game combines science, engineering, math, and creativity through engaging mini-games and activities. Players can solve puzzles, explore physics, practice coding, mix colors, create music, and embark on exciting missions — all at their own pace.

Besides the new titles, other existing games including NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition, PGA TOUR Pro Golf, and Skate City: New York are getting new updates bringing new levels and improvements to enhance gaming experience.

In India, Apple Arcade for individual customers, is available for Rs 99 per month with a one-month free trial. Customers who purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV receive three months of Apple Arcade for free.
