<p>Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha president Vatal Nagaraj on Sunday demanded the state government conduct an investigation by a high-level agency on Kichhgutti Maramma temple prasada case.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Speaking to reporters after visiting K R Hospital, here, he said, he would stage a protest in this regard, in front of Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, Belagavi, where the winter session of the state legislature is underway.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“The culprits should be hanged and I will stage a protest during the session,” he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The government must increase the compensation amount from Rs five lakh to Rs 10 lakh for the kin of the deceased, he demanded.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Nagaraj also accused Health Minister Shivananda S Patil of negligence and demanded his resignation.</p>
