Queen Finds Her Home at the Lalit

Drag queen Maya has been performing at the Bengaluru’s Lalit Hotel for four years. Run by Supreme Court petitioner Kashev Suri, the Lalit held a flag-raising and cake-cutting ceremony yesterday afternoon to celebrate the Court’s decision to decriminalize homosexuality. Maya talked to DH about how much the hotel group has supported her over the years.
